By now, there’s a good chance you’ve seen Baz Luhrmann’s 2013 version of The Great Gatsby–and it’s no surprise that suddenly everyone is channeling the over-the-top style of Daisy Buchanan and the rest of the crew. From feathers to flapper-style mini dresses with beading and embellishments, the fun, flirty Roaring 20′s style is everywhere! In the spirit of The Great Gatsby, we would like to highlight a few Lily Boutique pieces that encompass the luxury, glamour, and romance of the Gatsby era:

The Daisy Buchanan Beige Embellished Dress reminds us of something straight out of Daisy Buchanan’s closet.  It has an outer layer made with an arrangement of clear seed beads and rhinestones that create a sparkling look you’ll love.  This dress retails for $64 at www.lilyboutique.com.

The Charleston Eyelash Lace Designer Dress has a vintage inspired feel that will make you feel glamorous and chic in no time. It retails for $50.

The West Egg Sequin Designer Dress reminds us of a 1920s flapper. It is made of a pale pink fabric with ivory and bronze sequins and tiny seed beads throughout and retails for $76.

Maybe you would prefer a skirt instead of a dress? Then consider the Zelda Scalloped Shimmer Sequin Embellished Skirt.  This sparkly sequin skirt is perfect for your next night out with friends. We love the beautiful tiered scallop overlay with gold sequin and seed beads throughout.  It would look nice paired with a cute top and heels–or pair it with a fitted blazer if you need more coverage.  Donning this skirt is a great way to add a touch of Roaring 20s style to your look without going over the top.  It retails for $48.

One of the things we love the most about Great Gatsby style is all the decorations, feathers, and embellishments seen on the shoulders of the dresses.  The Chiffon Shoulder Petal Dress features a cluster of chiffon petals on each shoulder, giving it a subtle hint of Gatsby style without the over-the-top “bling”.  This dress retails for $40 and also comes in yellow and green.

In keeping with the trend of shoulder embellishments, this ivory sheath dress has a touch of Great Gatsby style with an edge.  The Studded Shoulder Ivory Sheath Dress has a great classic sheath cut with bold silver stud embellishments on each shoulder.  This is a great way to add just a hint of Gatsby style to your ensemble–and it retails for $46.

The shoulder embellishments on the Fame and Fortune Black and Cream Designer Dress make it the perfect choice to wear to any 1920′s themed dance or event.  Although the flouncy A-line silhouette is not typically seen in Gatsby-era style, the beaded shoulders and classic black and ivory combination make this dress a winning choice.  Pairing this dress with a feather or beaded headpiece would instantly create a great look reminiscent of the 1920s.  This dress retails for $82.

The Beaded and Lace Mesh Designer Dress is to die for!  We love the understated classic color scheme and the sleek beads at the bodice that resemble pearls.  Paired with a feather headband, nude or ivory pumps, and some pretty jewelry–this is a great dress that manages to be sexy and angelic at the same time.

The 1920s weren’t just about decadent beading and sequins–there was a softer side to the style as well.  Delicate vintage-inspired lace captures the sweet, angelic side in the Black Lace Belted Dress. This romantic dress has a simple cut and details but manages to make a huge impact. Pair this dress with a black feather headband and pumps and you’ll look effortlessly pretty.

Another option when you want to show your softer side is the Nila Crochet Lace Capsleeve Pencil Dress.  This dress comes in 4 different color options to choose from and retails for $45.

The Golden Wishes Lace Overlay Designer Dress is the perfect combination of vintage lace and Gatsby-style shimmer.  This dress is made of metallic gold semi-sheer lace that will let you shine at any event.  It retails for $75.

Miniature silver sequins decorate the bust of the Silver and Ivory Sequin Bustier Chiffon Dress, giving it the over-the-top glamour and decadence the Roaring 20s were known for.  This dress retails for $70 and looks great paired with metallic heels.

This sparkly little party dress is a modern take on a classic style.  The Glitzy Glam Coral Sequin Dress has a fitted cut, rounded neckline, and three quarter sleeves.  The striking mesh and sequin overlay will catch the light and shimmer from every angle as you dance the night away.  We like how the striking coral colors create a bright, updated look.  This dress retails for $46.

The aptly named Golden Gatsby Sequin Designer Dress is definitely something you’d find in the closet of Daisy Buchanan or Jordan Baker. With its sparkling sequin and mesh overlay, this dress has “glamorous” written all over it. Paired with nude pumps and a clutch, you’ll be the envy of everyone when you show up in this little number.  It retails for $72.
